About
Dizzy is qualified and skilled registered clinical counsellor (RCC), and a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) (as certified through CCPA). This means that Dizzy is certified to work in BC, Canada Wide, and Internationally, feel free to ask them how this can been done.
Dizzy has a degree in Masters of Counselling (MC), and a bachelors degree in Child and Youth Care (BCYC).
Dizzy brings more than 10 years of experience working with children, youth, families, relationships (couples) and adults Canada Wide, with most experience in Alberta and BC.
They have worked in group care, before and after-school care, in-school care (EA), community centres, shelters and as a counsellor. They completed their MC practicum with City University Counselling Clinic- Victoria location, a no cost counselling centre. This experience lays the foundation for the knowledge that Dizzy brings to create collaborative therapeutic relationships with an intersectional approach to diverse populations of all ages.
Dizzy’s lived experience, along with their identity as a proud trans, non-binary, polyamorous, queer, neurodiverse, and disabled person residing on lək̓ʷəŋən territory (Victoria BC), forms the foundation of their practice.
These experiences sow seeds that the cultivate care and fostering of meaningful growth and connection with their clients.

Group sessions bring people together around a shared theme or goal — a space to connect, learn, and grow together.

What Is A Gender-Affirming Care?
A Gender-Affirming Care Support Session is a dedicated space for people ages 5+ and 16+ (for sessions involving paperwork or letters) to connect with Dizzy about your gender journey and goals for affirming care.
Sessions can take place individually or with supportive loved ones — in family or relationship/couples formats — depending on what feels most supportive for you.
Together, we’ll explore where you’re at, what supports are already in place, and what you’re needing next.
Sessions Can Include:Completing forms or letters to access hormone therapy and/or gender-affirming surgery (16+)
Finding gender-inclusive resources, providers, and supportive community spaces
Talking through what transition means to you — including hopes, expectations, and values
Exploring your current and future support systems
Accessing the free Rainbow Closet (affirming clothing & gear swap)
⏳ Gender-Affirming Care Session Lengths:
Long-Term / Ongoing Care — continued care and support with no set end date, focusing on affirmation, exploration, and sustained well-being
Short-Term Care — focused support for specific gender-affirming goals, such as paperwork, advocacy, or resource navigation
One-Time Sessions (2 hours) — a single, extended session for:

What Are Body Doubling Sessions?
Body Doubling SessionsWork alongside Dizzy — either in person or virtually — to plan, focus, and complete tasks in a supportive, non-judgmental space.
Body Doubling offers shared structure, gentle accountability, and collaborative energy. You can work side-by-side(quietly or with check-ins) or collaboratively (planning, breaking tasks down, and celebrating progress together).

School or work projects
Creative endeavours and unfinished ideas
Administrative or “life stuff” that feels hard to start
You share the task or goal — together, we’ll structure the session to support your focus, momentum, and self-compassion along the way.

Long-Term / Ongoing Support — consistent body doubling to build structure, reduce overwhelm, and sustain progress over time
Short-Term Support — targeted sessions to plan, organize, or complete specific projects or goals
One-Time Sessions (2 hours) — extended focused time for intensive work sessions, project completion, or planning days

What Is A Resourcing Session?
Resourcing Sessions are focused, practical appointments where you and Dizzy work together to identify, organize, and access the supports you need.
These sessions offer structured guidance, advocacy, and planning to help make complex systems more approachable and sustainable — meeting you where you’re at and moving at a manageable pace.
Common Areas of Support:
Filling out disability forms or accessing related supports
Navigating work leave or return-to-work processes
Applying for jobs, housing, or benefits
Clarifying next steps in accessing services or community supports

Long-Term / Ongoing Support — continued sessions to navigate multiple or evolving systems of care and support over time
Short-Term Support — focused sessions for specific goals like completing forms, accessing resources, or coordinating care
One-Time Sessions (2 hours) — dedicated time to complete paperwork, review applications, or create a step-by-step resource plan
